`lsof` - list open files¶

Find What Process is Locking a Port on Mac¶

sudo lsof -i :PORTNUMBER

Example

➜ sudo lsof -i :5432

Find What Listens on TCP Ports on MacOS¶

sudo lsof -iTCP -sTCP:LISTEN -P -n

-P: Disables port name resolution, displaying only port numbers.
-n: Disables hostname resolution, displaying only IP addresses.
